In Search of the Char Siew - Part 2

Since I'm on a quest to find the best char siew, one of the better ones I've tried and something worth blogging about is ala Char Siew served from Toast & Roast @SS2.

Hakka Mee with Char Siew

This Char Siew is "half fat half lean" (phun fei saow) and is awesome! 

The Char Siew is crispy enough and tasty plus the noodles are 'oily' enough to give it that really nice texture to accompany the char siew excellently. 

I rate this 9/10 - until I find a better one (apparently there is). 

Check out this beauty! 

But I must say that this dish must be eaten hot and should not be 'ta-paued' :)
